		<description>Thank you for this post. It seems ludicrous that those renewing their B or L permits aren&#039;t judged on merit but rather on nationality. 

This teacher might just be a number to the authorities but she also happens to be a person of integrity, highly skilled in her field, a valuable contributor to society and will be sorely missed.</description>

		<description>Thank you for your commentary on the situation. Our daughter is also saddened by this very unexpected event, as are we parents. Obviously it prompted a conversation at home -- and while it can be educational for a six year old to understand how the immigration and permit situation works, differences between countries and quotas (and where WE as a non-Swiss family stand in the context of the entire issue), it&#039;s unfortunate that losing a valued kindergarten teacher was the starting point for such a discussion. No one wins here.</description>
